Dog and girl pose for the camera on hiking trail in Tampa bay Florida

Hey there!

I'm Alexandra Fitzgerald

I can't remember a time in my life where I wasn't fascinated with photography and making art of all kinds. From a very young age, I painted watercolor with my grandmother and started taking photos with my moms camera at the age of 12.

A deep love for photography blossomed from here, knowing that in fact I had found my passion. I photographed anything I could get my camera in front of, finding beauty in the most unsuspecting of places.

I was born in the small, quaint town of Bangor, Maine. The beauty of Maine is unmatched and I always have had a great love for the outdoors. It has become a part of who I am. I greatly enjoy hiking, fishing, and many other outdoor activities, especially ones I can do with my dogs!

At the age of 14, my family and I moved to Florida. Being gifted my first camera at 16, I photographed my horse and built up an equine photography account on instagram from nothing to 106,000 followers. As I've gained skill, knowledge, age, and found my niche, dogs have become my main focus but I also step into the equine photography and branding worlds often.

Hey there!

Meet Our Dogs

Aria: Nicknamed Flop Doodle, Doodle Flop, Flop Head, Doodle Butt.

Aria is a 7-year-old poodle mix that came into Alex's life prior to meeting Drew. She has accompanied  us on many adventures. She's a true outdoor dog and excels on the trail. Aria competes in dock diving and up-dog. In 2024 she finished 1st in her division in UDD for the Country and finished 1st rank in NADD for the Junior Division.

A true example of a lust for life, Aria is down for any adventure at any time.  For Alex, Aria is the reason she started taking photos. â€‹

Anna: Nicknamed Grape, Grapey, Midget, Rabid Bitch

Anna is Drew's dog that started it all. She is the eldest of the pack at 10-years-old. She's traveled cross country and gone on countless camping trips and hike's. Anna is a Mini American Shepherd. A BIG dog in a small body at only around 40lbs. Her giant personality is a constant source of amusement in the home. Though she's older, don't let that fool you. Anna competes successfully in up-dog and has training in herding. Get them Sheep!

From reactive to trustworthy, Anna has overcome many of the fears in her life. She's now able to be trusted around other people and dogs in most situations. Both Alex and Drew have worked very hard on her training to get her to the point she's at now.

Nerd: Nicknames Nerdlet, Nerdle, Chapitty

Nerd is our first rescue dog, she came from a bad situation in a neighbors backyard who didn't want her anymore. We decided to take her in instead of sending her to be adopted and she is now living her best life. She is the true example of a "House Hippo" and while she loves exploring, her favorite thing ever will always be her bed, couch and fuzzy blankets. She is about 5 years old and loves people so much. Everything about nerd is joy, though she does have an attitude, mostly around breakfast and dinner times.

Currently Nerd doesn't compete in any sports, she just has no interest. Alex and Drew are not sure if she ever will, but we'll continue to give her the best life ever!

Hailey: Nicknames Hei-hei, Hadle, Hades, Chicken Shit

The new kid on the block! Just last year we had Hailey rehouse to us by a friend who couldn't handle her level of drive. She is roughly 1-years-old currently and still just a puppy. Coming from the midwest, this summer has been difficult for her acclimating to the hot weather down here in Florida. She is an Aussie and loves to herd and play up-dog. Hailey is very much a velcro dog, wanting to know what everyone is doing at every moment during the day.

Hailey's future is bright for sports. For now though she just competes in up dog and is forwarding her training.
